At Weslock Tru Fitness, I have two foundational beliefs: workout and eat right. No fat burners, gimmicks, or BS. Show up, workout consistently and eat the right foods that will fuel your body. By equipping people with the right tools and guidance, I can help those starting out or returning to their fitness journey achieve real results that last. I believe that if you go ALL IN and truly commit, you can change your life.
But, I won't sugarcoat it because everything is sugarcoated these days. It will take hard work, consistency, and time to make changes that last a lifetime. Michael Weslock
I am a father of three, a husband, a personal trainer, a truck driver, and a volunteer youth basketball coach. Life is very busy, and time is limited, so it's important to train properly and make smart choices when it comes to your nutrition.
I started personal training back in 2005 at a big box gym in Illinois. In 2008, I relocated to Florida and began training at a small gym in Lithia until 2010. Eventually, I left personal training to pursue more secure careers in restaurant management and food distribution. I always maintained my own health and fitness and even coached a few friends over the years. I left personal training, but never stopped training myself.
My true passion has always been helping others improve their health and fitness. From weight loss to lean mass gains or helping beginners new to resistance training, I excel at coaching people on how to train properly. My goal is to help as many people as possible make the lifestyle changes they need to improve their quality of life and achieve their goals.
